This engagement session was like no other before it. I think it proves the point that I belong in the country and it was refreshing and so fun to think that I could feel at home again nearly an hour away from the city or just an hour away from my home in the burbs. Immediately when I met Kristin I got her vibe and I loved it. I think she was wearing something Camouflage (not army style, but hunting) and something pink – perhaps even rain boots (which if any of you have seen my wedding pictures you know I love ). I love how her sister had said that she was noticing her sister, this pretty in pink dancer, meet the man she loved and now be totally comfortable slinging shot guns and wearing hunting gear. Sitting there, I noticed she merged her fashions like an Icon. Needless to say, I was inspired by the life, by the work of art that is… her daily life. You get me
So this engagement session was shot (pun intended) on Ian’s family hunting property, which is an amazing piece of land, perfect for farming, hunting pheasants, and during a special week in late July where Sunflowers, fields of them, are as far as the eye can see…. a perfect pallet to inspire young lovers
And these two made my job easy as they are adorable, affectionate and totally free to be themselves! I am excited for them, love is to be savored and theirs I’m sure is sweet.
