Michelle and Conor

This first picture sums up the love between these two…and the day…and maybe even their marriage..smiling and laughing despite the downpour that started literally as they were going to exit the church and head off to the arboretum.  They were disappointed but they moved on, they laughed together and didn’t let it ruin their day and in the end the most beautiful light shined down on them in just enough time to take some pictures before their reception started.  They were going to take the pictures at the Morton Arboretum (a fav place of mine for its hidden gems of wooded beauty) but in the rain, it seemed like there was too much driving to risk it so instead we headed to the Butterfield Country Club, where the reception wasm and also the place where they first met years ago; Michelle, a lifeguard, and Conor, a member.  I think it is so fitting that their pictures ended up here, since it was the place they met and will end up meaning so much more.  It was just so beautiful how it all came together, how rain on your wedding day really can be lucky, and how most certainly it is a metaphor for sharing your life with someone.  It will be filled with some hard and disappointing times, but in the end, just when you need it to, the sun comes out.

What a blessing it was to be (musically) involved in your wedding. I have many memories of the Dulski family.
Love and best wishes,Barbara Gaona(Opsahl)
